Time:
A Half-hour is the 12 and 6 on the clock; when the long hand is on the 12 it is at the top of the hour and when the long hand is on the 6 it is called the bottom of the hour, or it is the half-hour. On a digital clock the number on the right will be :00 for the top of the hour when it is :30 you are at the half-hour.

- Martin Luther King Jr. Day is always on the 3rd Monday in January. This is the day that we remember the civil rights movement and the man who led it.
- Groundhogs’ day is always on the 2nd of February. This is the day that we watch a groundhog leave his burrow. The legend is that if the groundhog leaves the sees his shadow, we will have 6 more weeks of winter.
- Valentine’s day is always on the 14th of February. This is the day that we show others that we love them, we can do this any day … but this is a good day to show that you really love them.
