Kids at this age are like sponges, the goal at this age is to expose them to different things and information. While they will learn information, it is not the main goal!

Please note that some things are religious-based. I will indicate all religious-based information with * on both sides of the information so if you would like to remove it from your homeschooling, feel free to do so!

Practice Chores –

Show the child how to wash the dishes. We do the following:

  • Stack dishes on counter.
  • Fill sink with wash water.
  • Wash dishes
  • Put washed dishes in other sink.
  • Rinse the dishes once sink is full
  • Put dishes up on drying rack.
  • Put dishes away once dry.

An older child might be able to help rinse the dishes or help you put some of them away.

  • 30 minutes of activity each day (at least 5 days a week)
  • 1 mile walk/run
  • Push-ups
  • Sit-ups
