Kids at this age are like sponges, the goal at this age is to expose them to different things and information. While they will learn information, it is not the main goal!

Please note that some things are religious-based. I will indicate all religious-based information with * on both sides of the information so if you would like to remove it from your homeschooling, feel free to do so!

Our Routine for leaving the house in the car is:

  • Pack toys and snacks (each child has a bag)
  • Wait at the door.
  • Walk out to the car together. Get in the car (if waiting to get in they put a hand on the car)
  • Buckle up (sing “buckle up for safety, buckle up”)

Our Routine for leaving the house on foot is: (short walks we don’t require bags or the cart).

  • Pack toys and snacks (each child has a bag)
  • Wait at the door.
  • Walk out and down the steps
  • Bags into the cart, littles in strollers.
