Please note that some things are religious-based. I will indicate all religious-based information with * on both sides of the information so if you would like to remove it from your homeschooling, feel free to do so!

Community Helpers:
The first rule in an emergency is to stay calm and focused. Make sure you are safe, or if someone is hurt, that they are safe. An example if someone is hurting people or threatening to hurt people, please get into a safe place. Another example would be if someone is in a car accident. Please find an adult to direct traffic around the victim so that you and the victim will be safe. It is important that only “Adults” direct traffic because they can be seen by the cars.

The second commandment is: You should not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain. One way we should use God’s name is to pray. When we pray we are talking to God. To pray we can stand, sit, or kneel; we then fold our hands and talk to God. Taking God’s name in vain means that we use it in a bad way. We should not take God’s name in vain means that we should not use it in a bad way. We should not take God’s name in vain, but he does want us to use his name daily to pray and praise him.

Bible Reading:
Calling
We all have a calling; a calling is something that God has called us to do. What has God called me to do? To find your calling. We must look at the skills and abilities that God has given us. Some skills and abilities are given to everyone, and others are given to specific people.
